2:03 PM: Heads-up – that bus is stalled and awaiting a tow, blocking eastbound traffic toward the east side of the low bridge. Could be affecting the Spokane/Delridge/Chelan/Marginal intersection too, so if you have to head that way, wait a bit.
3:21 PM: Camera shows it’s cleared.
It really should only affect other Transit, Freight and First Responders like myself who just drove thru at the same time and witnessed LEO’s writing tickets on both sides.
At 4:30 pm today from the 1st Ave Bridge to the East end of the Junction was a 13 minute detour. And there was no traffic leading up to the bridge either. I do not understand in what world, other than a serious medical emergency, 13 minutes is worth breaking the law for. It’s the epitome of selfishness.
I rode my bike across the lower bridge to checkout the waterfront this morning around 10. The bridge had endless cars driving on it. I was blown away at the number of people feeling all high and mighty that the law isn’t for them.
Interesting. Imagine a bus breaking down on the low bridge during a normal rush hour. Hmmm.
