I know that’s what he meant, but that campus and its lot stretch across a couple blocks. (Added) We are off to look anyway.

Thanks. For some reason I thought I had read , “What’s STEM?” my eyes are playing tricks on me.

5-6 cop cars right by the crosswalk at 7:45am.

    • WSB January 7, 2020 (8:29 am)

Thanks. Nothing on the SFD log so whatever it was didn’t involve injury….

Just watched some careless driver in a black Acura nearly take out a pedestrian at Delridge & Genesee. They had been stopped at the light and had plenty of time to see that someone was in the crosswalk.

Sorry for delay, right out front.

Super fast, quiet commute today for me on the bus… did people decide to go back on vacation?? This is great!

    • newnative January 7, 2020 (1:31 pm)

I left early because I knew traffic would be back to normal. The bus was packed and tons of traffic but it flowed quickly.

Another fine bike commute this morning, despite the fact that all the aggressive horn honking cars are back on the road after two weeks. Even got to work early today because its tailwind Tuesday!

I love tailwind Tuesdays. Even better when it works on the way home too (rare)!

      • Tsurly January 7, 2020 (2:09 pm)

Agreed! Unfortunately it’s looking to be a face full of wind today.

Bike commuteing  help. I work at the Boeing plant in Renton I have to clock in by 5am on weekday’s and 4am on weekends. How would i get there from 63rd & Admiral and how long would it take? It’s 15.2 miles by car. It takes me @20 minutes to get there in the morning and @ 30 minutes to get home.  Note: just a regular guy in ok shape, not a bike racer type.Transit options are zero.

Try Google maps and click the bike icon for mode. It will give you a route that’s flat and mostly takes advantage of the trail system Alki-Duwamish-Green River. It’s not the most direct but avoids hills and a lot of road riding. If you average about 15/mph, it can be done in about 1hr 20 min. Might vary depending on wind and lights. Give yourself some extra time if you’re not familiar with the route and speed.

Sorry, comment time is over.
