1:03 PM: Thanks for the tip – if you haven’t seen the Southern Resident Killer Whales yet on their latest visit to central Puget Sound, today might be your day. They are reported to be off West Point on the north side of the entrance to Elliott Bay, southbound. Let us know if you see them!

3:45 PM: Thanks for the updates – in view off west-facing West Seattle at last report!

Amazing, they eat all types of salmon not just chinook!!!! Being that silver salmon are the largest presence in the Puget sound right now. The chinook have almost but a few entered the rivers to spawn, yet the media will have you believe southern resident orcas only eat chinook salmon…..let’s get real people.  Don’t believe the hype, use your brains. Carry on.

The question that needs to be ask ! why are they traveling out of they home environment into another location. they are seen in packs. traveling as a family. it seem as thou they understand what’s happening under water. especially involving the algae situation.

Sorry, comment time is over.
