UPDATE: Seattle Fire rescue response on Admiral Way hill

6:29 PM: Part of uphill Admiral Way north of the bridge is closed (map) for a rescue response. We are headed there to find out more.

6:38 PM: SFD describes the incident as “a person that fell down a hillside.” Per scanner, they have reached him and are bringing him up. Some of the responding units are being dismissed. We’ve passed the response on Admiral; traffic is still getting by both ways.

It started as a three-unit “med 6” call and was quickly upgraded to a “rescue rope” call with 13 units eventually dispatched, according to the incident log, All but 4 have been dismissed already. – TR
