West Seattle art: Jesse Link’s Junction mural, all done

While artist Jesse Link worked on that West Seattle Junction mural, we published a few in-progress looks (starting October 8th) … and realized we hadn’t been back in a few days to see if it’s finished. It is! (If you haven’t seen it “in person,” it’s on the south side of the almost-done apartment building at 4535 44th SW. It’s his second West Seattle mural in less than two months, after the bear on the north side of Shack Coffee in Luna Park.)

West Seattle is really starting to live with a cool vibe because of the Great New Public Art! Hey Jesse are you going to create any prints of these cool images on T Shirts or in Poster form..If Yes, Sign me Up! Hey I could dig a WestSea Ship T Shirt. Yes I just coined that phrase and you all can use it free of charge! lol!
    Cheers All!

Sweet one. Hopefully some of the older ones will get refreshed.

Ugh, sorry but this looks like an illustration to a children’s book, not appropriate to the site or neighborhood. I think it further clutters up the growing Junction density, hardly a ‘cool vibe’ in my opinion.

    Love it! Thanks Jesse!

Wow! I sense that some folks seem to forget that art is a subjective experience and can be loved or hated your call, maybe you just don’t like art. But you generaly have to have an open mind to begin with or you might just as well not even try really seeing or feeling art for arts sake. And just my opinion here but some of the coolest vibes in art I have ever seen are fun childlike images that rhymed with words like goose..Thanks Dr.Suese??
