Followup: See underwater video from ROVs’ morning at Seacrest

“Diver Laura” James promised video from her morning at Seacrest with two ROVs (and friends) – and she’s delivered. The clip above includes some footage of the unfortunately not-recovering-yet local sea stars, as well as showing how an ROV gets around.

    Thanks WSB!!!

I put in an order today for a handful of the little lenses that make the ‘homemade’ iPhone microscopes work. Neal Chism has been kind enough to let me use his workshop and has been helping me make a handful of the stands.

So hopefully when everything is complete we can have some plankton viewing sessions with multiple iPhone microscope bases along with ROV and maybe some live dive fun at Cove 2 :)

it will work with any iphone/android type phone with back facing camera. So parents can bring kids down and use your phones on the stand and that way you can keep the pictures that are taken :)

Wow! What remarkably clear video! Very cool.

Sorry, comment time is over.
