Can you stand another traffic alert? This weekend – stay here!

This one does not directly involve West Seattle’s traffic lifelines (99, 509, etc.) but it includes other major Seattle-area highways and begins with the dire-warning line “Drivers can expect region-wide congestion Father’s Day weekend …” Full details from WSDOT here.

Don’t forget next weekend (June 25). Viaduct is closed for the marathon.

Where are they going to have the marathons when the viaduct is gone?? They ought to start having them where ever it is now and quit inconveniencing W.Seattle every. single. time. Not like we are not going to be jammed up for years.W.Seattle needs a few breaks. Marathons go somewhere else!!!

The Race for the Cure already has moved to Seattle Center – this was its second year off the Viaduct.

I’m not worried. I will still make it into the low 90’s going down Admiral. I saw a coyote today! I can’t wait for Trader Joes etc.
