Dedication today for memorial honoring Officer Tim Brenton

Exactly one year ago, a Seattle Police Officer with West Seattle roots was murdered in the Leschi area. Today, a memorial to West Seattle High School graduate Officer Timothy Brenton will be dedicated in the same area – a community-created memorial. The dedication is at 3 pm; here’s more information from SPD Blotter.

So sad that this memorial even needs to be there. :( Officer Brenton and his family and friends are in my thoughts this Samhain night. Always remembered, never forgotten.

We did cover the event, if anyone’s wondering, and will have coverage up in a bit. There was some West Seattle representation. – TR

I wish every time someone thought about climbing the PC high horse to rush to criticize an officer for making the split second, heatof the moment decision to use lethal force against a deadly weapon wielding person, they think first to remember Tim Brenton.

Sorry, comment time is over.
