Election ’08: Governor Gregoire visiting West Seattle tomorrow

gregoireetc.jpgJust got word tonight from West Seattle’s State Sen. Joe McDermott: Governor Gregoire, with less than a week to go in a tough re-election fight, is visiting West Seattle tomorrow; at left is a photo Sen. McDermott took of the governor with former Vice President Al Gore and U.S. Rep. Norm Dicks during Gore’s recent visit. After a walking tour of The Junction tomorrow afternoon, she plans to meet with business owners and take questions at West 5; that’s expected to start around 2:15 tomorrow afternoon, and you’re welcome to stop by. (Disclosure: The Gregoire campaign is a WSB political advertiser.) 9:17 PM UPDATE: E-mail just in from the 34th District Democrats (also a WSB political advertiser) says U.S. Rep. Jay Inslee will be accompanying the governor during her West Seattle visit tomorrow.

Jim Mcdermott is a criminal. Chris G is not far behind. Both of them would be better suited for the ” Zombie Crawl ” of last week. Advice for the folks at West 5, keep an eye on our Governor. Hide the silverware and lock up the $$$. She will steal from you like she stole the election.

OK, perhaps our local State Senator JOE McDermott does not benefit from continued confusion about the (not related) U.S. Congressman Jim McDermott who Chris clearly has a negative opinion of.
    .
WS State Senator JOE McDermott’s only (relative) crime is he’s a sharp dresser who competes with Dow Constantine for best suited WS politician.

You got me on that one.

Okay, but Chris G. is still Chris G.

Jim McDermott has not been convicted in a criminal court. Therefor he is not a criminal.
Saying that Governor Gregoire “will steal from you like she stole the election.” is slanderous.
History shows us that politicians on all sides violate ethics.
Let’s keep it “Fair and Balanced”, albeit with a wink.

    Neither was OJ.

Cool that she’ll be at West5. Tell her what’s what, Dave and Dean!

Maybe her posse could “accidentally” sideswipe one or two of those obnoxious Rossi ad trucks on their way down Fauntleroy….

    O.J. was convicted.

Sorry, comment time is over.
