Chipotle. Finally one in West Seattle. Unfortunately the store still has growing pains. I stopped by at 3pm, after the lunch rush, but it still took me almost 15 minutes to pay for my food. Not because of the line, but because of an inexperienced cashier who constantly needed help from his supervisor – refunding a customer that was overcharged, then trying to ring up a fellow employee, etc. Several patrons food was queued up waiting and waiting as this gentleman stumbled through trying to ring up orders that most of our food was lukewarm by the time we were actually able to sit down and eat it.

To top it off, I tried using a gift card I have had for several years, but for whatever reason, their system has not YET been set up to accept gift cards even though they can sell them and prominently display them right at the cash register.

Swing and a miss. I recommend not going any time soon and allow them to work out their kinks and better their production flow. Maybe by then they will also have the liquor license they indicate they have applied for.

Sorry, comment time is over.
