Finding quality information regarding woodworking and getting proper training can be difficult. There is often a huge challenge for beginners who want to learn woodworking and finding a shop with the right tools can be hard if you don’t know what you’re looking for. IsGood Woodworks is your one-stop-shop and community woodworkers spot to learn and become certified with woodworking equipment.

I took a cabinet making class at IsGood Woodworks a couple of years ago. The class was small so we got a chance to really learn everything. John taught the principles and practices of cabinet-(or other furniture) making as well as how to use the tools and equipment with opportunity to practice. And of course we got to keep what we made. I was a little nervous about using power tools – especially the saws! – but John was very focused on safety and making sure everyone knew how to use the equipment without getting hurt. He’s a skilled craftsman and teaches students the right way to do things. And once you get checked out on the tools, you can go back to use the shop for your own projects. I highly recommend IsGood Woodworks!
