What's that smell??

Has anyone else noticed a funky smell in the Gatewood/ Fauntleroy area? Last night when I got home, and this morning when I headed out it smelled like … Tacoma (no offense intended to the good people of Tacoma). Am I nuts, or did anyone else notice this? Anyone know what it is? Low tide? Barton Pump Station overflow? combination of the two??

Yes, Barton Pump Station overflow yesterday evening I believe. I haven’t been down that way, but would assume that may be what you’re smelling in the area.

Update: County contains sewage overflow at Barton Pump Station in Fauntleroy

No update today, though we did check. Signs will remain up till the water tests as safe. – TR

Thanks! For what it’s worth, it smells better now… maybe due to the rain, or a strong breeze.
