CaitParticipantGirrrrrrrl he was lookin’ FINE!
There’s been a Chicago community organizer in our midst and it took this long to mention it! That’s pretty sweet! I bet Giuliani really fired you up around RNC time. If not I’m mad for you. :)

charlabobParticipantOh, believe me, I was mad enough for the entire community and then some.
Yup, I worked for Industrial Areas Foundation on a summer internship. When the rest of the world was obsessing about Ted Kennedy at Chappaquiddick, we were trying to get kids in summer schools. Sometimes it’s just a matter of examining priorities.

CaitParticipantMad MAD props. That’s pretty cool. Giuliani can suck an egg, for all I care.

HunterGParticipantI don’t think its a matter of drinking any koolaide, beachdrivegirl.
I also don’t think there is anything crazy about having a passionate belief in someone or something no matter what it is. Even if TheHouse may piss us off with what he comments, he wouldn’t make them if he didn’t passionately believe in what he was saying – we get irked because it isn’t in line with our own. I admit I have ripped the repubs several times on this forum, and in real life at least a couple times a day, but its only because I am an avid democrat and self admitted “Obamabot”.
If more people had a passionate enough belief in something to speak out and not hold back for fear of judgment the world could be a better place.

JoBParticipantpassion is what Obama and i share…
though i don’t always agree with what he is passionate about.. i am consistently impressed by his passion.
we also share large rather protuberant ears.. tho mom had mine pinned when they kept poking through my curls:)
Ken.. you and i share the educational tactic of paying to audit one course while slipping into many others… my schools were Reed and Lewis and Clark in Portland.. so i envy you Harvard…
but i guess we both share a passion for education…
and i bet we’re not alone here:)

LOL.. thanks for the really deep giggle…
you are certainly right about yourself..

ErikParticipantin common?
We’re both handsome, intelligent 47yo men that are good dancers. We’re also more likely to sink a 3-pointer in basketball than to throw a strike in bowling.
But I’m sure I have him beat in hockey…8-)~

bcollinsMemberWhat I have in common with Obama…
…we both agree that Joe the plumber and the Pitbull with lipstick are experiencing their 15 minutes of fame at the same time.
