miwsParticipantHi hammerhead, according to SPU’s “Ask Evelyn”, it looks like it can go in the food waste bin.
It says that bones can go in there, so I would think that would include the turkey carcass.

AimParticipantYup, if not in the freezer, it goes in your food and yard waste bin.
I always break mine up into 3-4 freezer bags of bones, and then one at a time take them out, add a whole onion and a bunch of garlic and herbs and boil until all the bones are clean. Strain, and you have a lovely stock to make ANY kind of soup from.

ToddinWestwoodMemberthrow the carcass out in the back yard and let the raccoons fight over it. :)

VanessaParticipantTodd, after they were done at your place, they came to my house, busted open the compost bin,(my bad, it wasn’t on very tight) and they had a rip roaring hissypissing fight….I’ve never heard the likes of it. PLUS, these 5 raccoons need to go to Weight Watchers. They’re OBSESE.I’m not kidding, they are as wide as they were tall. They looked like bowling bags with feet and a striped tail.

cjboffoliParticipantEver since I got chased away (from late night meteor shower photography) by an aggressive pack of raccoons I have a new appreciation for West Seattle’s particular brand of ferocious, pipe-to-the-kneecap raccoons.

ToddinWestwoodMemberWow, and I was too busy watching for Chupachabras to pay any attention to the raccoons.
I did check the Street Gang Resourse Page and didnt see anything on our W.S. gang. Maybe theya re flying under the radar of the Feds.
