we’ve been very happy with the YMCA t-ball program. however, it is already underway currently- i don’t know if they have a new schedule for the summer.

we have friends that send their kid to lil kickers at arena sports in SODO. looks like their program has open enrollment.

they have parent/child programs and child only beginner programs.

then, there are always the programs hosted by the community centers.

Arena sports – Lil’ Kickers program is great. They have a few locations. I’ve been taking the girl I nanny for since she was 1 1/2. Though the class at the East Marginal location was good and the arena is great, we were disappointed that she was the ONLY child in the class up until about 5 weeks in when a few more kids signed up. Now we trek out to Mercer Island where there are about 10 kids in our class. Further drive, but way more fun for her to not be alone! Plus the are lots of parks we can visit on our way home after class ;)

T-Ball is all underway right now, but I think the Y does a spring soccer. T-ball is way to funny right now, I have a 5 year old, and there are 4 year olds too. Very comical to watch!!!

Our son went to the Mercer Island Little Kickers. The YMCA’s indoor soccer season ended about three weeks ago. I encourage parents to sign up for next season’s. Unlike fall YMCA soccer, everything is indoor. No rain to drench you. Plus we do participate in the Y’s fall soccer. He also participates in T-Ball through the West Seattle Little League but the season is half over. If you can afford it, maybe try Little Gym.

Coach Thomas is great and has classes for little ones. A lot of his classes are out of Hiawatha. Look up “on the Bounce”.

I can concur with both the Y as well as Arena Sports. I am unsure if the Y is doing another session of Tball, if they are I can recommend it. I am going to be looking into other T ball/baseball options in West Seattle, will post anything I find here.

Arena Sports is great, we have been going to the SODO location. Great coaches, good class sizes, and there is usually a bouncy house for bouncing in post practice.
