I need to get a bunch of SmartWool socks, and am trying to avoid downtown — seems like there was a place in the Junction that had lots of socks, but I can’t remember the name. Help?

Happy: Think you are remembering The Sneakery but they closed (it’s now ThunderRoad Guitars). I was just in the Westwood village Target and think I saw some SmartWool but can’t remember 100% (was actually suprised b/c I love SmartWool!). Maybe too WS Runner? Target? Fred Meyer, Burien?

Big 5 in Westwood Village might have them.

I don’t know if he’s still there, but there was a guy who sold Smartwool socks at the Fremont Sunday Flea Market. I buy all my Smartwool socks on sierra trading post.

Not in West Seattle, but I usually buy my Smartwool socks at the Nordstrom Rack at Southcenter.

Thanks, all — and you’ve given me ideas for next year as well, when I”m sure this will come up again! Happy holidays, everybody!

I’m sorry, this response is probably too late. Outdoor Emporium on 4th Ave South near Safeco Field has an entire wall of Smartwool socks. They are 25% off through January 12, 2018.

Chuck Jacobs, thanks! It’s too late for this year, but these same people will probably put them on their lists for next year — I may just go shopping for them this week : )

Weather in Seatle requires some special socks, believe me. You should get a pair of Compression Socks, which will keep your feet warm and will not allow you to catch a cold. Hope it will help you, good luck!
