Is there an online resource, perhaps provided by the city, for looking up if/when roads are scheduled for repaving?

    Thank you.

Might start with SDOT’s “On the Move” page:

    http://onthemove.seattle.gov/

    Then there’s SDOT’s Facebook Page:

    https://www.facebook.com/SeattleDOT

I just gave both a very quick glance, but it appears either or both may be resources for that.

I just don’t know if they release the info weeks/months ahead, or more like “This is happening this weekend”.

The latter. We always report West Seattle projects as soon as they are announced. For example, the California SW work that is under way this week was announced by SDOT last week. MAJOR projects, like the continuing yearlong Delridge repaving, are announced further in advance, and tend to be distinct city budget items, but the block-at-a-time ones you see more often are, SDOT has told me re: past inquiries, added when money/crew time becomes available.

Are you wondering about a specific stretch of road?

    Thanks for the information.

Yes, I was wondering about a specific street: SW Lander St on Alki. It’s horrible. At the very least it could use some patching.
