This is Cookie Season and Oh. Yum. 3.14’s sugar cookies are special little cookies if you are a crunchy cookie fiend like I am. I am not a sugar cookie person, or I wasn’t until I tried Jessica’s unfrosted sugar cookie yesterday.
So light! Such a crispy, crumbly delight! These petite domes of sugar cookie remind of the airiness of a classic meringue cookie. Neither dense nor flat nor granular and overly sweet, these are lovely!
I learned that 3.14 Bakery (on 16th Ave SW, a few doors down from Roxbury, is offering Holiday Cookie Trays – 2 doz/$10.00. This is really such a great value.
Cookies can be hand-picked from their entire selection of cookies and bars. Ginger-bread people, Russian tea cakes, raspberry/almond bars, fudge, and traditional frosted flat sugar cookies in festive colors, and so many more to choose from!
