If you want quality products (Griot’s Garage products or better) and someplace that has an evident wash water recycling/disposal system:

– Mr. Detail, Downtown Seattle

– Park Place Auto Salon, Bellevue (best value to price, IMHO with online booking)

– NorthWest Auto Salon, Lynnwood (the best detailer in the region).

My personal experience with Rico’s was not stellar. The car wash area is a dumpy shed in the back accessed through an alleyway (I was worried for my low slung car). It didn’t look like the water and wash chemicals were going anywhere useful except into the ground/gravel. They missed several spots and left a ton of swirls. The quality of wash cloths being used were pretty bad too instead of soft microfiber.

I can’t wait for a high(er) quality detail shop to startup someplace in West Seattle. I’ve heard good things about Accutint in SoDo but haven’t gone there yet.
