I don’t know if anyone else here received an email inviting comments on the proposed increase in Puget Sound Energy’s rates. Sadly, I get the impression that our input has little impact. Still, I submitted my comments. Granted, the increases are pretty small, but I suspect they’ll keep creeping up and up over time. And, true, I have no problem with top execs earning big money, but this is ridiculous and an insult to the middle class.

“As President and Chief Executive Officer at PUGET SOUND ENERGY INC, Kimberly J. Harris made $6,264,383 in total compensation. Of this total $900,000 was received as a salary, $5,344,045 was received as a bonus, $0 was received in stock options, $0 was awarded as stock and $20,338 came from other types of compensation. This information is according to proxy statements filed for the 2017 fiscal year.”

We need to elect some people who can say NO. 75% of my PSE bill is taxes and fee’s. ENOUGH!
