    JOB TITLE: Office Administration
    JOB LOCATION: Seattle (West Seattle Neighborhood)
    EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Part-Time leading to full time. (Long term applicants only)
    COMPENSATION: DOE
    We’re seeking an Office Associate to join our team! You will perform clerical and administrative functions in order to drive company success.
    We are a small family business that works in the Puget Sound area. Our consultants perform safety inspections in the ship repair industry and conduct safety training. We’re all passionate about our jobs! We enjoy working in an environment where every team member matters.
    Responsibilities: What You’ll Do
    -Answer, direct, and transcribe phone calls on multiple lines with excellent customer service skills, including redirecting calls to the appropriate person.
    -Management of complex calendars with attention to accuracy and timeliness with an extremely fluid schedule.
    -Manage multiple email accounts with professionalism.
    -Manage text messaging for intra-office communications.
    -Take and deliver messages accurately and completely.
    -Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, scanning etc.
    -Work closely with the office managers & field professionals.
    -Coordinate and support the rhythm of the business and off-site projects.
    -Work as part of a strong administrative team to manage the needs of the overall group.
    -Coordinate and track projects with high attention to detail – must do this really well!
    -Show progress quickly with general guidance.
    -Prepare early versions of documents from templates- which allows for iterative changes.
    -Planning and coordination of travel itineraries.

    Qualifications: What You’ll Have
    -Demonstrated work experience in a fast-paced administrative capacity.
    -Exemplary customer service skills with many different types of people.
    -Proficiency with Microsoft productivity software (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel), Dropbox, Adobe, field service management software.
    -Macintosh experience is a bonus (all mac office).
    -Positive attitude and optimistic outlook.
    -Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
    -Good project management, time management, judgement.
    -Active listener with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    -Take on new challenges with a desire to learn.
    -Work quickly in a fast-paced environment, able to multitask and prioritize.
    -Work collaboratively with administrative teammates within and outside the organization.
    -Demonstrate a high level of integrity and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
    -Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
    -Flexible with demanding schedules and a wide variety of tasks.
    -Can be comfortable with situations that have unknown variables or incomplete information.

    You’re clear about what you want, now how about elaborating on what you are offering? Instead of DOE, a range would be helpful. Also, what other compensation? More information will help job seekers know if its something they want to pursue and result in less wasting of everyone’s time.
