Hoping to soon start a kitchen remodel and am looking for some feedback from those who have recently purchased cabinets from Lowe’s or Home Depot. I am looking at the floor models that they have and would consider KraftMaid, American Woodmark/Diamond or Schuler. It’s a little overwhelming as they all seem quite similar. Any yays/nays out there for any of these? Or am I missing a local cabinet maker or another source that is comparable? Thanks in advance:)

Superior Cabinets in tukwila came well-recommended, and they were wonderful to work with. They do not do installation, but they are with you all the way. They did adjustments afterwards…loved the price and quality and service.

We bought our cabinets from superior cabinets about 3 or 4 years ago and love them. They are solid wood and have a wonderful finish on them. We worked with NCompass for our kitchen remodel and they recommended them.

I also recommend Superior Cabinets. They are custom cabinets and were comparable in price to KraftMaid. We had a few problems because I don’t think our designer was all that great – he was relatively new, but the follow up customer service was fantastic. I’d definitely use them again.

A fifth recommendation for Superior Cabinets. We had them do kitchen cabinets for us in 2003, a built-in desk and wardrobe closet (w/drawers, etc) 2 years ago, and now they are designing an entertainment center for us. They do fantastic, very reasonable, custom work! Ask for Ryan to help with your design. He is a natural and has great ideas and suggestions that you might not have thought of. Superior has never disappointed!
