While driving down Admiral towards the bridge yesterday evening it appeared to me that just about every car parked in the “FOR SALE” lane of the road had/has a flat front/right tire.
I noticed as I drove up Admiral just a few minutes ago that one car was up on blocks, and the passenger side tires were totally gone. There have been a number of thefts of tires in the ‘hood lately, I think. This is someone who is going down the hill, doing what they can to steal them, I think, hidden from oncoming traffic by the cars themselves…
I notice that too last night/this morning but thought I was crazy. It appeared that each vehicle had two flat tires (tires to the curb). Not sure what happened, but I did report it to the non-emergency police number last night.
I doubt it is a coinky-dink; I would suspect a person who needs to get rid of their gruntles or a bored teen. While I wouldn’t endorse this approach, I know it had has occurred to me with the 1-800-Got-Junk trucks and their car ranch advertising.
