Hi – can anyone recommend a good geotech? Needed for steep slope slide evaluation.

    Thanks

Since there are no other replies yet…

I was doing some research on the geology surrounding my house when I happened upon a geomap of Seattle from the UW. In the article one of the references mentioned was for a company called Aspect Consulting. I called them and spoke at length about my project. They were very helpful and while I ended up not needing to use their service, the fact that they were willing to help me even though I was not a client made me bookmark their website.

    This is their site:

You could call anyone of their clients and speak with them for a reference.

I’d love to take a look at that UW geo map if you still have a link. Thanks!

Unfortunately, the website will be down for several months and is going to be moved. If you bookmark the link, I am sure that it will eventually take you to the new location. *They did provide a link to a subsurface database.

This next link will take you to the Pacific Northwest Geologic Mapping and Urban Hazards website.

    Hope you have fun exploring!

Gary did steep slope survey for us years ago via our contractor (Gary was great, our contractor was not).
