Apparently the folks we have used at Seattle Lawn care are no longer in buisness. Anybody know of a WS person that does the aerating (plugging) thing? Thanks

We called Kens a few years back and for the tiny yard I have they totally overcharged us. Home Depot, among others rents them for about $40 a day. They are pretty easy to operate. If anyone wants to get a group together I would sign up to use one for about 15 minutes and kick in $10. I am sure if planned well we could get 10 people to use it in a single day and get the price per person pretty cheap.

Try Northwest Botanicals – a local West Seattle firm, if they don’t do it they can probably recommend someone who does. 206.932.1850 or http://www.northwestbotanicals.com.

Great idea, Carson. I’d buy a 30 minute or 60 minute block. With down time and moving from location to location I don’t think you could parse out use of a shared aerator for less time than that.

I use Bob Banke & Associates. He has aerated my lawn a couple of times. Looks lousy at first, but helps alot. He has a small crew and does great landscaping and landscaping care. 206-779-5941
