My sister-in-law needs to find someone to take in her mom’s cat. Her mom is being moved to an assisted living facility. The cat can’t come along, and no family members can take her. (Including us – we’re at our kitty limit and it’s taken me two years to get the ones I have to tolerate each other). She’s tried four no-kill shelters, and none have room. I know there are some folks on here that are involved in cat rescue groups, so if you know of anyone looking to adopt, or even a good shelter that has room, I’d love to know.
She’s a spayed female, healthy, 7-8 years old, mostly indoor, lap sitter, seems sweet and good natured, but has never been exposed to kids or other animals, so not sure how she’d do in those situations.
