Anybody have any info on the shooting @ Oregon & California that happened around 8:45am this morning? (Saturday 6/07/2025)

Hi, there were no shootings nor even suspected “shots fired” calls logged around that time anywhere in WS Two possible-gunfire calls hours earlier further north but police didn’t find anything (to confirm a shooting, there has to be either an injured person, damaged property, found shell casings, or someone actually seeing a gun being fired). Did you hear or see something? If so, do you have the police-report number? – TR

I receive a Spot Crime report daily and it was listed in that. This was the information on it:

ASLT – PERSON SHOT OR SHOT AT. Precinct: SW. Event #: 25000155827
Address: SW OREGON ST / CALIFORNIA AV SW, Seattle, WA
Disclaimer: This information is from the Seattle Police calls for service log. Information is subject to change.

I guess it’s possible that it was incorrect and removed from the police logs, but I don’t have the resources to check that.

That’s the danger with those automated alerts – they send out stuff that turns out to be unfounded.
