Hello all, my wife is prego with twins and we are looking for options for infant care in West Seattle or Kirkland. Does anybody have any recommendations?

Congratulations! Childcare Resources http://www.childcare.org/families/index.asp. is a good place to start. Adna’s daycare in Highland Park comes highly recommended by friends of mine and is on that website. You can also have your employer’s EAP (if you have one), help you with a search. With twins a nanny might be more cost effective than daycare, but not sure of the best way to look for one. Good luck!

We have two friends that have gone the aupair route. One of them has twins. With day care for one averaging over 1k a month, the au pair set up is a real deal if you have the room for one.

We have had a wonderful experience with Bright Horizons in West Seattle. We have graduated from the infant room and are now part of the Toddler program – excellent care providers, clean and new space, healthy meals (when you are ready for them) and active engagement with children for learning opportunities.

Acorn Daycare near Luna Park has been great for my son. He’s been there for a few years now and I have nothing but great things to say about Virgina and her staff.

Jayjay- I have a lot of info from our recent daycare search that I’d be happy to pass along. If you want it, email me at hgeisenhoff at gmail.
