    Hello West Seattle Community:

    Community Harvest of Southwest Seattle, a community based non-profit, will be hosting it’s second annual Spring Plant Start Sale:

    Saturday April 17th – SSCC – North Entrance

    1-4PM

    Community Harvest Members – come early for the best selection at Noon

    (join at http://www.gleanit.org/join.html or at the sale)

    Lots of beautiful veggie starts in 4-packs and 4” pots.

    All plants $3 ($2.70 for Community Harvest Members)

    Chose from:

    Artichokes, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Kale, Lettuce, Broccoli, Mustards, Onions, Spinach, and more!!

    The West Seattle Tool Library will be accepting “in working condition, non gas-powered” tool donations in conjunction with the Plant Sale. For the first 75 tool donors, you will receive a coupon for a free Veggie Start (limit 1 per family).

    This sale will help support the work of Community Harvest of Southwest Seattle in increasing access to fresh local produce. In 2009, we harvested and donated 6,600 pounds of surplus residential fruit to the local food banks. Help support our efforts in 2010.

    Just a reminder that Community Harvest of SW Seattle will be hosting our 2nd annual vegetable start sale at SCCC this Saturday (4/16) in conjunction with the West Seattle Tool Library.
