PeanutheadMemberAnyone have any tips on how to help a couple feral or possibly abandoned cats?
We have 2 light grey cats in the neighborhood lately that appear to not have a home. Both are sweet but are definitely scrounging out an existence on their own. One is very pregnant.
We would love to help them find a home but can’t take them in ourselves (I already have 3 cats). We are really worried about the pregnant cat giving birth in the alley.
Any tips on who we could contact or where to take them would be greatly appreciated.

PeanutheadMemberThank you both. I made some calls and left some messages. Hopefully we can do something for the pregnant cat before she gives birth.

mehud7ParticipantPeanuthead-Thank you for helping these cats. If they are friendly, get them to the Seattle Animal Shelter ASAP 2061 15th Ave W (206) 386-7387. The shelter is open 12-6 daily except for Monday when they are closed. I believe they just added Tuesday hours. If the cats are untouchable FAF or FCAT can help (see above).

PeanutheadMemberPamela,
I left you a message with my address if you wanted to drop off the carrier and trap. I’m not sure if I can get her in the carrier or not. She is semi friendly and will let you pet her for a second but she’s pretty skiddish.

LStephensParticipantBless you Peanuthead for trying to help these cats. Your karma will be good.
October 10, 2014 at 3:47 am #814591
hammerheadParticipantWell the cat is fixed, about 10years old, very dehydrated and horrible teeth.
He will go to shelter tomorrow.
Glad I could help:))

4th of EightParticipantAnybody catch the very pregnant cat yet?
October 10, 2014 at 5:06 am #814593
hammerheadParticipantThat is across the street in the alley way, it has been an on going issue for years. FAF is trying to get it, but the guy who feeds is needless to say a bit difficult to deal with.

PunnyBooBooParticipantThank you to everyone for your help and concern!
4th of Eight – kitty ended up not pregnant, thank goodness. I’m not sure why her belly is so swollen, but her poor health is evident :(
