What you’ll do
Facilities Services supports Pioneer’s mission by ensuring that its building and facilities are safe, efficient, and sustainable so the organization’s programs and operations can thrive. The Maintenance Technician III position requires advanced skills and is responsible for the repair and remodel of PHS facilities and capital improvement projects. The Maintenance Technician III oversees a work crew and directs work on the jobsite.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Facilities repair, maintenance and construction
•Plan and sequence tasks on assigned jobs
•Jobsite safety
•CommunicationKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
•Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
•Excellent interpersonal skills.
•Ability to operate power tools.
•Maintain good working relationships with all employees and provide excellent customer service.
•Intermediate computer and smart phone usage.
•Must be detail oriented with strong professional skills.
•Excellent interpersonal skills.
•Ability to work independently.
•Maintain a professional, courteous manner with all residents, vendors, contractors and coworkers.What you’ll bring
(Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience)
Required:
•Minimum five years of experience in construction remodel, facility maintenance, residential or commercial tenant improvement
•Minimum two years of experience leading a team of 1-2 direct reports.
•Valid WA State Driver’s License/clean record/valid insurance and meet requirements of a Company Approved Driver.Preferably you’ll bring
•Well rounded construction/maintenance background.
•Completion of a construction apprenticeship program.
•OSHA 10 certificate.
•CPR/First Aid Certification.What we offer

•Tuition assistance program: Pioneer pays 100% of a bachelor’s degree tuition and 50% for graduate programs. Available for full-time status employees after 6 months of employment.
