    Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Daycare Manager to lead our home daycare. This position involves both educating and caring for young children while managing daily operations and ensuring a safe, organized, and enriching environment.

    Educational Responsibilities:

    Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and social development.
    Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
    Assess and document each child’s progress and development, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
    Facilitate group and individual activities that support various learning styles and developmental needs.
    Management Responsibilities:

    Oversee daily operations of the daycare, including scheduling, inventory, and maintaining compliance with local regulations and standards.
    Supervise and train additional staff or assistants, ensuring they adhere to daycare policies and practices.
    Manage supplies and resources, maintaining inventory and ordering necessary materials as needed.
    Handle administrative tasks such as enrollment, record-keeping, and communication with parents.
    Address and resolve any issues or concerns that arise with children, parents, or staff in a professional manner.
    General Responsibilities:

    Create and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children and their families.
    Plan and organize special events, field trips, and activities to enhance the learning experience.
    Promote positive behavior and conflict resolution among children, fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.
    Stay updated with current early childhood education practices and incorporate new techniques and ideas into the curriculum.
    Qualifications:

    High school diploma
    Experience working in a daycare setting as a teacher, preference given if you have experience in management/leadership roles
    Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a talent for building relationships with children, parents, and staff.

    Certification in CPR and First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
    A compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine love for working with young children.
