Call your nearest fire station and ask them, sometimes they give classes or will know who does.

I’m pretty sure Highline Medical Center in Burien regularly offers adult and child CPR classes, too.

The American Red Cross has them, too – they have a location over on 25th Ave So., not too far from here.

Via a web search found out there is a company here in West Seattle called A CPR class located at 6055 35th Ave SW, #206-790-0743. They teach the American Heart Association Cirriculum and the certificate is good for 2 years. They also teach AED and Blood Bornes Pathogen. They have a website acprclass.com. Hope this helps!

You can also check out the Training & Education page on the West Seattle Be Prepared website. It has links to CPR classes & various other preparedness training.

There is also an application for the iPhone and Google phone created by King County’s Emergency Medical Services.

When I was about 10yrs old I was at the Bainbridge Island ferry terminal when an older gentleman had a heart attack and I watched as nobody assisted. It left an image in my mind forever. He died…I guess there wasn’t anyone around that knew CPR.
