Anyone know of any cooking classes for kids age 9-11?

PCC has a series of kids cooking classes including the West Seattle store. Here’s a link to those classes:

I know that Dream Dinners, a WSB sponsor does private parties. I would be surprised if they turned down the idea of a kids cooking class.

I was going to recommend the PCC classes too. My daughter has taken several and really enjoyed them. They usually offer one per quarter in that age group, and they also have also offered cooking “camps” during school vacations in the past.

And PCC is a sponsor too!!!!

One other recommendation – check the community center fall brochure. They had some kids cooking classes last time I looked. We have the PDF of the brochure linked to our Events page near the top, or you can find it on any community center’s home page – they have been combining ALL West Seattle cc’s into ONE brochure, very nice move.

Thanks so much everyone for all your suggestions! I had no idea that PCC offered kids cooking classes, great! I will give them a call!

Silver Table, a local West Seattleite, did kids cooking camps for many years. She took a break but I believe is starting up again this summer. My son went a few years ago and really enjoyed it – as a result he is now a certified lover of crabcakes and spring rolls!
