If you know someone with a Ridwell subscription, ask if you can add yours to their bin. If not, you can drop them at a transfer station free, or have the city pick them up for a small fee. https://atyourservice.seattle.gov/2021/09/30/dead-batteries-recycle-them-with-spu/

I have taken batteries to True Value for recycling. They have a drop-off bin on the checkout counter.
