Anyone have a cat trip tp lend?

I just started working with a small nonprofit in White Center. They have a mama and three kittens someone dumped. I need to catch them and take them to the Humane Society. I need a couple of cat traps to do this. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Michael, I’m a volunteer with FCAT and was going to refer you there too, but I guess you may have already spoken today. From your earlier conversation, it sounded like these were feral cats, not dumped social/friendly ones, which makes a big difference with any shelter and limits the cats’ options (for life). I think you got information today on how we can safely trap the mom and kittens – and keep the problem from continuing at your location – so if you have questions, there are new details, or you want to move forward and work together on this, give us a call at the number JanS mentioned above!

Yes we did speak. I told him the options.

Even if you do trap them more will show up or “dump” what will you do then. This just doesn’t solve itself by trap and removing and killing.

Hopefully the kittens are young enough to be socialized and mom actually has barn home available but I guess with the other 100 ferals that need to be reloed. Every cat’s life is life or death.

Oh don’t forget if you don’t get a trap sooner than later, she will have more kittens with in 1 month or so. As we are in are 2nd pregnancy’s of the season right now. I have 8 pregnants right now getting fixed tomorrow.
