Bam! It came on fast and is just so miserable. Headache, aches, sore throat, stuffy nose. I have heard from a couple other West Seattlites that have contracted it too. I was just wondering what I am in for, duration etc.

YES!! I thought I was the only one! Started as sore throat then turned into just what you described, a terrible head cold. I am just starting to feel better and its day 5..

ok…that solidifies it…I’m a recluse, and staying home and away from everyone. I’m on immune suppressants, and have already been through the spring from hell…when I get it, it’s twice as bad as everyone else.

    Sending out for food ;-)

    I got it :(

Not a cold, but I got hit with a nasty stomach bug that was intense for about three days and has been kind of lingering for a couple more. It feels like such a waste of ice cream-eating time in the summer!

There’s some nasty stuff going through my office but it seems to be hitting people returning from vacations requiring cross-country or international long haul flights. If you’re flying soon definitely bring a travel pack of Clorox wipes and wipe down your seat, arm rests and tray table. The flight attendants will look at you approvingly (they know how filthy planes are) and your fellow passengers will be wishing they thought of it too. I used to always do it when I traveled for business down to California and back in a single day because I was always tired of getting sick exactly 7-10 days later.
