I have been wanting to start playing the accordion for some time. Does anyone know of any accordion teachers in West Seattle?

On Dakota between California and 42nd there is the WS music academy I am not sure what instruments that they teach but it is a place to start.

For old classical Oom Pa Pa, track down Bonnie Birch. For more inventive and creative play, search for Marchette DuBois and the Accordion Army. Not necessarily just West Seattle, but both well known here. A search for “Day of the Accordion Seattle’ will get you even more information.

Speaking of accordions, anyone know where to buy a decent used one? And how much do they go for? Craigslist had some for $2500 but that seemed really high to me!
