Sorry to hear about your “friendly” encounter.. There doesn’t seem to be a way to stop getting phone books. I have seen people comment in previous years that they called someone to get off the list but each year the “friendly” distributors just go from door to door without a list of who wants one. There is so much information on line these days, and for the past several years, that there appears to be little to no need for phone books. I think they are just made each year for the advertising revenue? We just recycle ours but would prefer to not get them.
