I know it’s very un-Seattle to confront any situation directly, but I simply ask them to move their bag. If they don’t, I pick it up, plunk it on their lap – or the floor, and sit down. I’ve also had unsavory experiences on the bus, but that doesn’t give me the right to deny a seat to anyone. Other annoying bus violations are feet on seats people, and eating on the bus.
