Not related to politics but rather to the foreclosure crisis.
Another reality with the constant selling and reselling of mortgage notes is that some of these are being lost. When foreclosure comes some homeowners are getting relief only by the fact that no one can prove who has the mortgage note. No note, then you can’t take my house.
The Fed has already shown it’s willingness to print more greenbacks out of thin air to prop up the big banks.
