Seattle Fire Department Ladder 11‘s assignment late this morning didn’t show up on the SFD log, where often a sight like that might be logged as “automatic fire alarm,” so we asked SFD. Spokesperson David Cuerpo says it was just training: “Ladder 11 was on Alki Ave conducting a training exercise at Don Armeni Park. Then they tested their aerial ladder on Alki Ave SW to determine whether they could access the roofs of several low-rise apartment/condo buildings (they could).”
