WEST SEATTLE CRIME WATCH: The crawling prowler

That video is from Rose, who has long had a video camera on her “Wild Reiki Spa” – and was surprised to see this video showing a non-wildlife visitor on all fours. This happened last night in Belvidere. She says the crawling prowler headed for a garden shed containing only garden tools, and she doesn’t think anything was taken. No police report # yet.

Weird! Did he leave on all fours or did he leave on 2 feet?

I assume it’s someone who has been by or cased the place to try and avoid cameras. What a weirdo. Jeez just get a part time job and buy what you need.

He is trying not to trigger a motion sensor light. Any better photos of this person?

Wasted and couldn’t stand up? Maybe looking for a place to sleep it off.

He must have crawled or walked away in a different direction.  Had he retraced his path while exiting, his face would have been visible on this camera.

That looks like what you’d see on a trail camera

Our police response in Seattle is so slow that criminals can crawl to and from a crime scene, at their leasure.

In answer to questions, I have no idea if the person was on drugs, but it was clear that he was able to stand up to open the shed and rifle through the contents. He left on two feet and did not leave the way he came. My landlady filed a police report, and so did our neighbor across the street, who had a brand-new grill stolen that same night. Had to have been the same person. And yes, that is a wildlife cam. I usually see raccoons and opossums. I was not expecting this form of wildlife!
