We’ve mentioned next Tuesday’s event before; now, the flyer just went out on the Admiral Neighborhood Association mailing list – read on for the text:

Admiral Neighborhood
Crime Prevention Summit

Dear Neighbors:

The Admiral Neighborhood Association is inviting you to a Crime Prevention Summit, in cooperation with the Seattle Police Department, to explore ways to make your home, block and neighborhood safer.

There have been many home burglaries and car prowls in Admiral Neighborhood over the past year. Here’s your chance to do something about it.

Please join your neighbors, Officer Adonis Topacio, Benjamin Kinlow, Crime Prevention Coordinator, and Admiral Neighborhood Association representatives on:

Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at 6:30 PM.

Hiawatha Community Center,
2700 California Ave SW

We will get a chance to meet each other and discuss ways we can work together to stop crime in our neighborhood.

Please step forward in joining together to improve or create a new Block Watch, by coming to this meeting.

If you want to help spread the word to your neighbors, please email Katy Walum, Admiral Neighborhood President, for an email flyer: katy.walum@gmail.com or drop her a note.

Thank you!
