Buy books, do good: Sanislo sale tomorrow (and more)

That photo e-mailed to us shows part of the crew getting ready for tomorrow’s 4th Grade Used Book Sale at Sanislo Elementary, raising money for their annual educational overnight trip. Coffee, tea and treats, too! 10 am-2 pm, 1812 SW Myrtle (map). That’s one of four benefit sales tomorrow in the West Seattle Weekend Lineup – TONS going on – review the list here.

This is a picture from early on after school got out: we sorted books from 2 ’til nearly 7, and we STILL have many more to plow through tomorrow morning before the doors open. See Gillian on the right paging through something tempting? Let me tell you, it was very difficult for a book lover to resist buying up all the good stuff right then! Can’t wait too see folks tomorrow. We’ll have yummy treats, as well, and all the proceeds go towards environmental education for our 4th graders. Hope to see you there.

THANK YOU to all who came! We made $1200+ towards our 2 day/2 night environmental trip to Camp Sealth. And a huge thanks to all the 4th grade student & parent volunteers who made it happen: you all are the best. :)

Sorry, comment time is over.
