JanSParticipantmy family, especially my daughter and her husband, and my parents; my friends, who have been wonderful to me – what would I ever do without you; my community – esp. this community on this forum – that has been so supportive through my recent illness; and lastly, I am thankful for the health that I have. What an amazing summer and fall it’s been !

The Velvet BulldogParticipantI’m thankful the BF is cooking today! And even though my contract job is ending and I’ll be unemployed again, I’m thankful that I can still take care of myself more easily than many folks who have been hit so hard by the economy. I’m thankful to have a cozy house to live in during weather craziness. I’m thankful for the Blog, and I’m thankful JanS is still in great spirits!

miwsParticipant(Gonna be hard to keep this concise!)
I’m thankful for some wonderful friends, (mostly acquired through WSB), a likable Sister, Harborview Medical Center, and others that have helped get my life back on the upswing in the last year.
I’m thankful that all of the above, as well as the Transitional Housing Program I’ve been in for nearly 8 months now, have assisted me in this journey with helping me seek out and acquire the services and benefits needed to get me back to self-sufficiency.
I’m thankful that I am now able to be working on getting back into permanent housing, hopefully in the West Seattle/White Center area.
Finally, I’m thankful for and to all of the folks that got involved in helping Nickelsville in the last year and a half, and continue to do so, long after I moved out. And, of course, I’m thankful to the WSB Team for all they have done in helping get the word out about NV issues and needs, and for bringing us all together in the first place.
