cbofParticipantHello out there,
I really don’t like needing to post this, but I’m hoping for some compassionate responses. I have a family member in a difficult situation (without going into personal details), and one part of this situation is a pair of very sweet cats. It sadly looks like they will need new homes. We’re still working on family support, but it’s proving difficult. I’m trying to help by writing this post.
A lot of this is out of my control, being one who feels that when you commit to a pet, you commit for life. But I know there are often missing pets on the blog, and was thinking maybe someone who has not been reunited with their missing kitty would like to adopt/rescue one or both of these sweet cats. They are adult (at least 7 years old), one male and one female, both neutered, no health or behavior problems, get along with other pets. They have been indoor cats and have had routine veterinary care. The female is small, black, long-haired, and pretty quiet. The male is larger, short-haired, black and white, a little more on the outgoing side. I can provide pictures if you need.
Also, if anyone has any advice on finding trustworthy homes, I’d be open to hearing it and passing it on to the cats’ owner. I’ve never had to do this before, but want to do as much as I can to see this situation turn out ok for the cats.
Thanks!
