Turns out I haven’t either. There’s a ballot tracker at http://info.kingcounty.gov/elections/ballottracker.aspx which says mine has been received but not yet validated or counted.

And a blog post at http://www.kingcounty.gov/elections/news/2012/November/08ballotcount.aspx that only 2/3 of King County ballots have been counted.

So with 375,000 uncounted ballots in just King County, what’s properly considered over and what’s still up in the air?

From the SeattleTimes article, “Elections officials blamed voters who waited until the last minute to cast their ballots and laws allowing them to do so”

Yeah…I put mine in the dropbox at 10am Tuesday morning. Understandable that they’re having issues with people who barely got a postmark by Tuesday night, but in fact they’re not counting people who were way ahead of that.

this is turning out to be a very slow process

in my heart of hearts I hope that the remaining King Country ballots unseats the charter school amendment.. and Eiman’s tax measure…

but i confess, i haven’t checked to see if there are enough uncounted votes to do that
