    Still looking…

I run a large ebay business from a warehouse down in SODO.

I am looking for a part time shipping assistant to work about 10 hours per week for $12/hour. We ship Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays, so you’d be working approximately 3 hours each of those days in the morning. Responsibilities include:

Pack boxes for the day’s shipments (good attention to detail)
Take boxes to nearby Office Depot to be shipped
Keep packing supplies and packing area organized
Place stock on the shelves as it gets listed online

Tasks will vary throughout the week with Monday typically being a big shipping day (about 30 boxes) and Wednesday and Friday being lighter, but allowing time to keep things organized.

I will train in how to effectively pack and use the ebay shipping system. You must have reliable transport, driver’s license, and be very reliable (the shipping has to get done). You will have flexibility in your hours as long as you can demonstrate you get things out on time.

As a bonus, if you’re interested, you’ll be learning a ton about how to run a successful ebay business and will receive lots of mentorship if you’re interested in that.

If you think you’re a good fit, please send your resume and a short paragraph about why you think you’d be great at this job to seattlemagpies@gmail.com

Isn’t the small employer without tips/healthcare minimum wage in Seattle now $13/hr ?
