Unfortunately, I found out tonight that this evening was the last night for a caregiver to attend to my brother, not mid-January as I anticipated.
So I am making a request for some assistance to find a caregiver for his agency starting as early as next week.
I hope I am not wearing out my welcome, but the best caregivers seem to be from our local community.
Here is my request:
“If you are a big hearted, gracious person with medical training who delights in helping the disabled you are a good match for this wonderful family ( that’s us) located in West Seattle.
Daily activities include assistance with applicable ADLS, walking, bowling, basketball, swimming, exercise and Mariner games!
If you find yourself in need of extra income this is a fun way to meet that goal.
Hours are Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings from about 7:30 PM to 10:30 pm. Mondays actually start at 7PM with a pick up at Husky Deli where George works. The other nights involve a pickup at Providence Mt. St. Vincent Cafeteria, where he cvolunteers.
Care for Mariner Game nights in the summer may start earlier and run a bit later, dependant on the Mariners playing time.”
If you are not interested, but have an idea that a friend or acquaintance may be interested, please pass the information along.
